British Electric Bike maker, GoZero Mobility has announced the launch two of its flagship products “One” and “Mile” e-bikes in New Delhi at INR 32,999 and INR 29,999 respectively. The products would reach the rest of India in a phased manner.

The GoZero One features a 400Wh lithium battery pack that is claimed to deliver 60 km of range on a single charge. The GoZero Mile, on the other hand, gets a relatively lower 300Wh lithium battery pack that could cover 45 km. Both e-bikes get multi-modes of operation – Throttle, Peddle Assist, Cruise Mode, Walk Mode and Manual Peddle. Both the e-bikes come with a lockable battery pack.
Speaking about the company’s India entry and plans for the market, Ankit Kumar, CEO of GoZero Mobility said:
With the significant focus by the Government of India towards Electric Mobility especially 2-wheelers, we see this as an appropriate time for us to be here. E-bikes globally is playing a major role allowing the user to commute faster and contribute towards curbing pollution & reducing traffic congestion. In last few weeks, we have seen the worst of AQI in cities like New Delhi, this is an alarming situation and requires immediate attention. We see E-bikes to play a major role in transforming the way we commute in India. GoZero Mobility is determined to offer products with optimum performance and create a green-way to commute.
As reported earlier, GoZero Mobility has partnered up with Kolkata-based Kirti Solar for the development and manufacturing of current and future products. Kirti Solar has invested USD 250,000 in GoZero Mobility. The current manufacturing capacity stands at 20,000 units per annum. Kumar added:
We are very happy to have partnered with Kirti Solar. KSL brings in a lot of expertise on board in the areas of manufacturing & distribution and we shall work together to create more products for different consumer segments.
The company anticipates selling 3,000 units of One and Mile in the first year. The sales are expected to reach 75,000 units in the next five years. Both e-bikes are designed for India, Africa and South-East Asia. The company also has a series of E-Bike that would be launched in 2019 starting with DelivR, One W & Zero Smart in India, UK & Europe.

GoZero plans to open 18 experience centres and a network of over 1,000 retailers in the next two years. Apart from the e-bikes, GoZero would also launch a range of lifestyle merchandise that includes Tees, Sweat Shirts, Jackets, Belts, and Wallets etc.
