Here is your daily dose of Ford EcoSport, the car which is testing the patience of the prospective customers and enthusiasts alike.
The long overdue model form Ford has started reaching Ford dealerships according to a report by Wheelomania.com. However, we reckon that the cars are being sent to dealerships for the purpose of training the service personnel.
The EcoSport as we all know by now will be offered with two petrol engine options - the 1.5 litre from Fiesta and the 1.0 EcoBoost. The diesel power comes from the 1.5 litre motor which is again lifted from the Fiesta.
Wheelomania.com claims that the dual clutch automatic transmission is available only on the 1.5 litre petrol engine and it also claims that the diesel version of the EcoSport will be a bit late to arrive in the market.
While we can't verify any of these claims now, we can say that there is still some waiting to do before the compact crossover SUV finally hits the Indian roads. Ford India is keeping the information about the launch date and variants very close to their chest.
Many potential buyers who are waiting for the EcoSport have eventually started running out of patience and it could mean that the delay would cost Ford a lot of business.
