Adopts a more premium dashboard design.
Last week, new spyshots of the 2017 Ford Ecosport (facelift) from China revealed an all new dashboard design. Based on the design cues seen, IAB's graphic artist, Shoeb R Kalania has rendered the whole dashboard and other features.
It drops the heavily stylized look for a sedated design that appears to be much more premium and well built, featuring silver and chrome trim materials. The infotainment system and the buttons around it has been totally redesigned, now being upright and closer to the driver. Other changes include new steering-wheel with buttons, revised instrument cluster and new HVAC vents in the center console.
From the same source, the exterior spyshots reveal a completely covered front end that appears to hide new headlamps, a revised grille, and large foglamp housings with turn indicators. It is expected to draw design influence from the new Ford Edge and Ford Kuga crossovers.
