Here is a walkaround video of the EBR 1190SX that is based on the fully faired 1190RX, shot by Youtube user GregsGarageTV. The streetfighter is characterized by a narrow headlamp and an engine cowl that also doubles up as fenders. The rest of the features are directly borrowed from the 1190RX.
The hubless front wheels with rim-mounted 380 mm disc and off-set rear monoshock suspension are interesting features of the superbike.
EBR has not revealed the specifications of the 1190SX but it's expected to carry forward the 1190RX's hardware as it is. The 1190cc 72-degree V-Twin engine produces 185 hp and 138 Nm of torque, and is paired to a 6-speed transmission via a wet multiplate slipper clutch.
The equipment list is expected to include a multi-stage traction control and ABS (not available in 1190RS yet). Riding position would be a little upright compared to the track focused 1190RX. Having lost the fairing, the kerb weight of the naked bike would be lesser than its sibling.
Competition for the EBR 1190SX would come from the likes of the KTM Duke 1290 and BMW S1000R.
