DC Design introduces a very unique body kit for the Renault Duster as part of a customization program at 3.49 lakhs.
The bold design direction gets you something new, as a softer or an elegant design is already available through Renault's accessories line or at the after-market stores.
DC has never designed a product that sails everyone's boat, their work on 9/10 occasions has been a 'love it or hate it' type.
In the Duster's case, the front fascia should get a lot of positive response with a trail of LED lights complemented well by a vertically stacked foglights. The body work is finished in matte black and the chrome lozenges are replaced by DC logos at the front and at the back. Custom DC alloy wheels and a polished side steps are a few other body changes. The treatment to the exterior bodes well with the Duster's virile design.
This isn't just a body kit launch, 3.49 lakhs is a lot of money to spend on just some plastic parts and LED's! Of course DC has made changes to the interior, and by changes, we mean a complete transformation.
Going by the photos, the result is a marine style cabin with a faux wood and leather finish to the cabin. The rear bench is replaced by two six-way adjustable captain chairs and a tiltable giant LCD screen sits on the driver's seatback. A foldable tray table and entertainment controls grouped on the center partition are seen in these images. The dashboard and front doors are trimmed in faux wood, chrome and artificial leather.
The party trick of the cabin is that the front co-driver seat and the captain chair behind it can be combined to make a bed.
