Changes likely to be limited to cosmetic tweaks.
Datsun has announced that a limited edition redi-GO 'Sport' will go on sale on September 29. A teaser has revealed some of the changes in store.
Changes to the exterior are limited to cosmetic tweaks. The redi-GO Sport features a contrasting black stripe running across the engine hood and roof, gun metal bezel for the grille, a red-painted mesh, black-painted wheel covers with red accents, and another stripe stickered across the profile.
The interior has not been revealed. It could feature exclusive seat covers, floor carpets and sportier pedals. Features standard in the top-end redi-GO 'S' variant include DRLs, a 2-DIN audio system with AUX and USB connectivity, while a driver's airbag is optional.

No upgrades will be made to the powertrain. The redi-GO Sport will carryover the 799 cc three-cylinder petrol engine capable of producing 53 hp and 72 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It is capable of averaging a fuel mileage of 25.17 km/l (certified by the ARAI), making the redi-GO one of the most fuel-efficient petrol hatchbacks in India.
