Datsun will launch in Indonesia in the following weeks with the Go+ MPV. Prior to the market launch, a reader of Autonetmagz snapped these images of the Go+ Hi-Sporty, which is basically a Go+ with a sporty bodykit.
The front end is given a low bumper spoiler, while the rear gets a roof spoiler in addition to the bumper spoiler which comes with an integrated chrome strip. The MPV is seen receiving side skirts and a chrome rub guard. An interior shot reveals dual-tone beige-blue seats.
Though this is reported to be the top-end Go+ variant, features such as alloy wheels and foglights, like the top-end Go, are not available.
The Go+ will be launched in India by the end of this year and will become the second Datsun model to go on sale after the Go hatchback. The MPV shares its underpinnings with the hatchback and measures below 4 meters in length. This specification will play a vital role in its Indian pricing, as cars adhering to the 'small car' norms in India attract lower taxes.
Like the Go, power comes from a three-cylinder 1.2-liter petrol engine producing 67 hp and 104 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission is used on both cars.
