The standard Datsun GO with the aero kit wasn’t sporty enough for the customers in Indonesia, as per market feedback. So, the company has launched a sportier limited-edition Datsun GO Live.
Datsun says that the GO Live, which it had introduced in production form at GIIAS 2018, is line with Indonesia’s passion for personalisation. The special edition uses the top grade as a base and comes with a host of attractive new features and design modifications.
The Datsun GO Live features a dual-tone exterior colour scheme with the wheels painted in black. The front spoiler, rear diffuser, side mouldings and roof spoiler in yellow give its exterior a funky look. The exclusive 15-inch black alloy wheels with spokes in a hexagonal design and the radiator grille also sport yellow accents.
The instrument cluster, fabric seats’ stitchings and the seatbelts all abide with the same colour-coding featuring this shade for a striking and youthful look is where the exclusivity ends.
The Datsun GO Live employs the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine as the regular model. This engine is coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission. In the MT configuration, it produces 68 PS at 5,000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. In the CVT configuration, it develops 78 PS at 6,000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm.
