Indonesia could be the first market for the crossover.
According to an Indonesian report from Otomtif Net, the Datsun GO-Cross is ready for launch in Indonesia, although a timeframe of launch has not been decided, yet. The Head of Datsun Indonesia, Indriani Hadiwidjaja, had confirmed that the Datsun GO-Cross will enter the country.
Unveiled as a concept model during the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, the GO-Cross is based on the Datsun GO+ MPV’s platform. It is reported to be offered in two versions, a five-seater and a seven-seater, when launched.
The GO-Cross would be powered by the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder DOHC 12-valve engine that would be tuned to produce 68 PS at 5,000 rpm and 104 Nm at 4,000 rpm. Transmission system would also be the same five-speed unit as on the Go+.

The report also states that the GO-Cross will be launched in India. The model will be shown in its concept form at the Auto Expo 2016, Datsun India confirmed this week.
