Datsun has taken the wraps off the production version of the Go Cross concept in Indonesia. Christened Datsun CROSS, the car features a new front fascia as well as a revamped interior. It is priced at around IDR 163 million (INR 727,730) valid during the pre-booking period.
The front end features projector halogen headlamps with LED signature lamp, prominent fog lamps, front grille with chrome bordering and honeycomb inserts, and silver skid plates. The car rides on 15-inch alloy wheels. It also gets power door mirrors, extra body cladding, chrome exhaust tailpipe finisher, roof spoiler and roof rails.
Inside, the Datsun Cross has a black colour theme and the layout differs from that of the Datsun GO+. The Cross is differentiated by rectangular central air vents and a 6.75-inch touchscreen head unit.
The Datsun Cross is powered by a 1.2 L 3-cylinder petrol engine. It is offered in two configurations - 68 PS at 5,000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and 78 PS at 6,000 rpm and 104 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm paired with a continuously variable transmission. The Datsun Cross offers 200 mm of ground clearance, 30 mm more than the Datsun GO+.

Datsun is yet to announce its plans to launch the CROSS in the Indian market. According to previous reports, the crossover is likely to arrive sometime in 2018.
