Citroen has showcased the Citroen C3 Aircross at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. Here are the compact SUV’s images from the show.
The Citroen C3 Aircross replaces the C3 Picasso. The design is based on the C-Aircross concept introduced at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The C3 Aircross measures 4.08 metres in length, 1.77 metres (2.05 metres with ORVMs) in width and 1.63 metres (1.67 metres with roof rails) in height, and has a wheelbase of 2.54 metres. The boot space stands at 410 litres, which can be expanded to a maximum luggage space of 1,289 litres, with the rear seats folded down.

The C3 Aircross features LED daytime running lights, 17-inch diamond-effect wheel, rear quarter lights with “Venetian blind” print, 3D-effect rear lights, skid plates (front and rear), fully panoramic glass sunroof with a sun blind and LED light guide. Coming to the interior, it gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Citroen Connect Nav 3D navigation system featuring TomTom Traffic and voice recognition, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink, and (Qi) wireless charging for smartphones.

The C3 Aircross sources power from a PureTech 130 petrol engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox, in its highest-spec variant. There is also PureTech 82 and 110 petrol, apart from HDi 90 diesel, BlueHDi 100 diesel and BlueHDi120 diesel engine models. The engines come with a choice of 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and 6-speed EAT6 automatic transmissions. For international export, there are two engine options- PureTech 110 EAT6 petrol and HDi 90 diesel. Prices start from £ 13,995 for the PureTech 82 manual.
For optimum safety, the C3 Aircross features keyless entry and start; Top Rear Vision reversing camera; park assist; active safety brake; lane departure warning system; blind spot monitoring system; intelligent beam headlights; speed limit recognition system and recommendation; driver assistance alert; coffee break alert, and grip control with Hill Assist Descent. The 2017 Citroen C3 Aircross will hit the European markets between September and November 2017.
