The 650NK rivals the Kawasaki Z650 and its specifications match those of its rival. In terms of hardware, the middleweight naked roadster from the Chinese brand uses right side up forks at the front and an asymmetrically mounted rear monoshock - both sourced from KYB. Braking department includes twin discs at the front and a single disc at the back, both featuring a wave pattern for the rotor, while the safety net comprises dual-channel ABS from Continental. Adjustable levers for the front brake and the clutch give the 650NK’s cockpit a premium touch.
The motorcycle features a projector-style LED headlight along with LED blinkers and a LED taillight that give it a premium look over its Japanese rival. The muscular styling is enhanced by the dual-tone body paint that is visible on the headlight mask, fuel tank and the side panels. The radiator shrouds further add to the beefy looks of the 650NK. A split-style seat follows the muscular fuel tank and gives it a sporty persona. The short design for the exhaust gives the motorcycle a clean look from the side view. The shape and upswept angle of the exhaust match the engine cowl that makes it visually appealing. The motorcycle is available in two colour options:
- Athens Blue/Pearl black
- New Pearl white/Pearl black
Mechanical specifications include a 649.3 cc parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 8-valve, DOHC motor that delivers 61.54 PS of power at 9,000 rpm and 56 Nm of max torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine comes linked to a six-speed transmission. In comparison, the Kawasaki Z650 draws 68 PS at 8,000 rpm and 65.7 Nm at 6,500 rpm from its 649 cc parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 8-valve, DOHC power mill.
The 650NK, similar to the rest of the models launched in India today, would arrive via the CKD route, with the assembly taking place at AMW Motorcycles’ facility in Hyderabad. The motorcycle is available at an aggressive introductory price of INR 3.99 lakh* which is much lower than its rival Kawasaki Z650's price - INR 5.69 lakh*. The CFMoto 650NK's naked roadster styling will be ideal for city use.
