Were launched worldwide earlier this year.
BMW India's President Mr. Philip von Sahr had confirmed to IAB in July that the M4 and M3 would be launched around October. Now, IAB learns that the duo will be arriving in showrooms at the end of November 2014. Previews for prospective customers will begin at the start of November, IAB was told by sources.
Prospective customers who have been waiting for BMW's latest M cars to arrive can now sit tight and wait for bookings to open.
The BMW M4 Coupe and M3 Sedan are powered by a new turbocharged 3.0-liter straight six engine that produces 431 bhp between 5,500 – 7,300 rpm, and 550 Nm of torque between 1,850 – 5,500 rpm, while weighing in at under 1500kg. The engine is coupled to either a 7-speed double clutch gearbox or a six-speed manual gearbox. The cars can sprint from 0-100km/h in less than 5 seconds, before hitting a limited top speed of 250km/h.
The M3 and M4 will be brought to India via the CBU route.
