BMW has revealed the BMW M2 Coupe Edition Black Shadow, a spruced-up BMW M2 with a stealth look. The special edition model features a slew of exclusives that enhance its appearance.
The BMW M2 is painted exclusively in Sapphire Black metallic. It features 19-inch black matt forged light alloy wheels with a Y-spoke design and mixed tyres as well. Complementing the black theme, are high-gloss black M kidney grille and trim bars for the side panels, ORVMs and rear diffuser in a carbon finish and black-chrome trims for the M double tailpipes.
The BMW M2 Coupe Edition Black Shadow sports the familiar 3.0-litre turbocharged in-line six-cylinder petrol engine that develops 370 PS and 465 Nm of torque. Transmission choices may include 6-speed manual and 7-speed M DCT dual-clutch automatic. Like the regular model, the model should have a RWD drivetrain layout as standard. BMW is yet to reveal complete details.
The BMW M2 Coupe Edition Black Shadow’s market launch will take place in April 2018. The M2 is best-selling BMW M model, with more than 12,000 units sold worldwide during its first full production year. The entry-level BMW M model was rumoured to arrive in India, but that hasn’t happened so far.
