BMW will unveil a BMW 7 Series Edition Exclusive in the summer of 2014, sometime between June and September, for Europe.
The luxury sedan's special edition will look to "intensify the driving experience through high-class and distinctively matched equipment options," said the company in a press release. It will get metallic paintwork and 19-inch light-alloy wheels in the V-spoke design that has been exclusively designed for edition models.
An enhanced version of the exclusive Nappa leather trim and an instrument panel finished in leather will be part of the package. As part of an optional package, BMW will offer BMW Individual all-leather trim Merino fine grain and BMW Individual Alcantara roof lining.
Both the traditional BMW 7 Series and the BMW 7 Series extended wheelbase edition will get the Exclusive variant.
BMW offers a variety of engines for the 7 Series, starting from 6-cylinder 3.0-liter petrol engine that make 258 hp and peak torque of 310 Nm for the 730(L)i. The same engines in the 740(L)i make 320 hp and 450 Nm. For the 750(L)i, there's an 8 cylinder 4.4-liter petrol engine making 450 hp and 650 Nm of torque. For the range topping 760(L)i, a 6.0-liter 12-cylinder engine makes 544 hp and 750 Nm of torque.
In terms of diesel engines, the 730(L)d gets a 6-cylinder 3.0-liter engine making 258 hp and 560 Nm of torque and the same engine makes 313 hp and 630 Nm for the 740(L)d. The same engine also does duty on the 750(L)d xDrive, producing 381 hp and 740 Nm of torque.
