Concurrent to the release of the BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo diesel in India, the BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo petrol was introduced in the Luxury Line grade last week. The BMW 6 Series GT petrol Luxury Line costs INR 61,80,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The BMW 6 Series GT petrol Luxury Line features chrome high-gloss exterior details. These include the BMW Kidney Grille’s vertical slats, some design elements of the front bumper and the rear bumper’s diffuser, window recess cover, finisher for the window frame and the tailpipe finisher. The mirror base, B-pillar finisher and window guide rail are in black high-gloss.
The Luxury Line grade gets the same 18-inch double-spoke style 619 alloy wheels as the Spot Line grade. Mineral White and Royal Burgundy Red brilliant effect exterior colours are exclusive to the Luxury Line grade. Customers can select from the Glacier Silver and Mediterranean Blue colours shared with the Sport Line grade as well.
Inside, the BMW 6 Series GT petrol Luxury Line features Fineline Ridge wood trim with Pearl Chrome highlight trim finisher and standard front seats (instead of the Sport seats). An exclusive upholstery option is available in addition to the two variants of the Sport Line grade - Ivory White Dakota leather with exclusive stitching/piping in Black/Dark Coffee.

The BMW 6 Series GT Luxury Line grade, akin to the Sport Line grade, comes exclusively as the 630i. Powered by the 2.0-litre BMW TwinPower Turbo four-cylinder petrol engine, it develops 190 kW (258 PS) at 5,000-6,500 rpm and 400 Nm of torque at 1,550-4,400 rpm. The 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission sends power to the rear wheels. The fuel economy is rated at 14.28 km/l.
