British carmaker Bentley has unveiled the more powerful Continental GT Speed and a V8 engined Bentley Flying Spur at the Geneva Motor Show. While the former will be launched in June, the latter will come this month.
Bentley Continental GT Speed
Bentley's luxury supercar gets a more powerful version of the same 6.0-liter twin turbo W12 engine, now making 646 hp and peak torque of 820 Nm. It is mated to an 8-speed ZF gearbox.
The new car boasts of a top speed of 331 kph, making it the fastest production Bentley, while the revised convertible edition can hit 327 kph.
The Bentley Continental GT Speed also gets some visual enhancements, like a a front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser that are finished to match the exterior paint colour. Red painted brake calipers and chrome 'Speed' badges on the front fender complete the styling changes.
The car is also available in Candy Red body shade, Bentley announced.

Bentley Flying Spur V8
The Bentley Flying Spur now comes with a 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 making 500 hp and 660 Nm, allowing it to hit a top speed of 295 kph. Bentley says that the engine comes with cylinder deactivation, intelligent thermal management and electrical recuperation, allowing the car to have a range of 840 km on its 90 liter fuel tank.
The V8 is mated to the same 8-speed ZF gearbox as the W12 version and comes with permanent all-wheel drive and independent computer controlled air suspension.
