Bookings underway for Bajaj's fully-faired offering.
Here are more images of the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 courtesy of The Super Bikers League on Facebook. The fully-faired motorcycle goes on sale in India tomorrow, with prices expected around the INR 1.3 lakhs mark.
Information available thus far suggests that the Pulsar RS200 will be available in at least two variants - with and without ABS. The version with ABS has a sticker on the front mudguard, as seen in these images. The RS200 will be the first Pulsar to get this safety feature.
Power for the RS200 will come from the 200 NS's 199.5 cc triple-spark single-cylinder engine, though it remains to be seen if this engine is offered with a fuel-injection system. According to Bajaj's Turkish website, the RS200 develops 24.4 PS and 18.6 Nm of torque.
The motorcycle weighs 151 kg, which is 6 kg more than the naked 200 NS. At 2,060 mm in length, 750 mm in width and 1,160 mm in height, the RS200 comes with a ground clearance of 165 mm. Production of the RS200 is underway at Bajaj's Chakan plant, and display units are on their way to the brand's dealerships across the country.
