Bajaj wants to build an inventory of 25,000-30,000 units.
Ahead of its launch this month (reports suggest a launch on March 26 or 27), a dealer in Kolkata has received the Bajaj Pulsar RS200. Bajaj is in the process of teasing its new sportsbike across various social media channels, and a teaser video was also revealed recently.
Bajaj has also started rolling out the Pulsar RS200 from its Chakan plant, certain reports say. The manufacturer wants to build inventory of 25,000-30,000 units before the launch, as it anticipates strong demand for the motorcycle, which would likely be priced in the region of INR 1.15 lakhs, ex-Showroom.
Powered by a 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, the RS200 has power and torque outputs of 24.4 PS and 18.6 Nm of torque, according to Bajaj's Turkish website. The RS200 is also expected to get features such as LED taillights, twin-projector headlights, LED daytime running lights and ABS.
Once again, going by the company's Turkish website, the RS200 measures 2,060 mm in length, 750 mm in width, 1,160 mm in height and 165 mm in ground clearance. The motorcycle gets a 12 liter fuel tank and weighs 151 kg, about 6 kg more than the naked Pulsar 200 NS.
