The all-new Bajaj Platina 110 has started reaching dealerships across the country. The Platina 110 comes equipped with ‘Anti-Skid Braking’, which is Bajaj’s interpretation of Combi-Braking System (CBS).

As compared to the Platina Comfortec, which is priced at INR 47,405 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Bajaj Platina 110 is dearer by only INR 1,792. Commenting on the announcement of the 110 cc variant, Mr Eric Vas, President (Motorcycle Business) – Bajaj Auto Ltd., said:

"Bajaj Platina has always been synonymous with exceptionally high mileage and superior comfort. The Platina 110 now joins the highly successful existing Platina 100 ES to offer a premium option to 100cc consumers. Freedom from jerks due to rough roads is a necessary requirement for motorcycle customers, the new Platina 110 is the best product for customers who value ride comfort and safety."

Powering the Bajaj Platina 110 is the Discover 110's 115.45cc, air-cooled, SOHC DTS-i engine. The single-cylinder mill is good for a maximum power of 8.6 PS at 7,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 9.81 Nm at 5,000 rpm. It is mated to a four-speed transmission. The Platina 110 offers the highest torque figures in its class.

Braking duties are performed by 130 mm front and 110 mm rear drum brakes. The motorcycle employs telescopic forks at the front and twin spring-in-spring (SnS) gas-charged Nitrox shock absorbers at the back. The Bajaj Platina 110 features an LED DRL above the headlight and new graphics.
