The Bajaj Dominar 400 is Bajaj’s answer to India’s thirst for an affordable performance tourer.
Apart from being a brilliant everyday ride, the Bajaj Dominar 400 can be a great tourer. A comfortable riding position, bright LED headlamp, and a snug seat (both pillion and rider), the bike has a lot going for it. However, this modified Bajaj Dominar 400 by SahyadriMoto takes home the pie.
The modified Bajaj Dominar 400 gets a Shad SH39 top box with custom top rack and saddle stays, custom crash guard with frame sliders and two 18 watt auxiliary LED lights. The number plate has been relocated to the front mud guard. The bike also gets a windshield with a custom bracket and integrated mobile mount.
At the heart of the Bajaj Dominar 400 is a 373.3 cc triple spark, liquid cooled, fuel injected mill. Coupled to a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch which is capable of producing 35 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. That’s not all, the Bajaj Dominar 400 also gets a meaty mid-range and a complacent top end.
The extra lights will add to the Dominar’s night riding capability, while the windshield with custom bracket will protect the rider from wind blast. The top box and extra saddle stays will help in carrying luggage conveniently.
