Audi India's Michael Perschke has just unveiled the new TT sporstcar in Mumbai. The TT is priced at 48.36 lakhs (ex-showroom Maharashtra) and will be available at Audi dealerships from June. Audi India has already managed to find two orders for this car.
It is powered using a a 2.0 TFSI engine that produces 211 hp and 350 Nm of torque at 1600 - 4200 rpm. Drive is sent to the wheels through a quattro permanent all-wheel drive system and an S tronic transmission. This endows the car with the ability to complete the 0-100 km/hr sprint in just 5.6 seconds.
The TT measures 4,1m long (not much longer than your Hyundai i20), is 1.8 m wide and and 1.3 m tall. The wheelbase measures 2,468 millimeters and it has seats for two fully grown adults and two smaller rear seat passengers. This is a coupe model and outer body weighs only 206kg to aid the car's handling.
