To celebrate 20 years of its RS lineup, Audi has unveiled the RS4 Avant Nagaro edition at the Geneva Motor Show. The car will hit the showrooms "early in 2014."
The special edition model gets a 4,163 cc naturally aspirated V8 petrol engine that makes 450 hp of power at 8,250 rpm and peak torque of 430 Nm between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm, giving it a 0-100 kph time of 4.7 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 280 kph. The gearbox on this model is a 7-speed S tronic.
The RS4 special edition also gets the Quattro permanent all-wheel drive equipped with a self-locking crown centre gear differential that allows for a maximum of 70 percent power to the front axle and 85 percent to the rear axle. Audi also offers a sports differential as an option.
Apart from the sports diff, Audi also offers dynamic steering and a suspension upgrade, in the form of the RS sport suspension plus with Dynamic Ride Control.
While standard equipment includes the Audi drive select dynamic driving system that allows to choose between three modes - Comfort, auto and dynamic - the car also gets a 4th mode - individual - if it is equipped with the Audi MMI system.
