The 2020 Tata Nexon was spied for the first time recently. Incorporating the visual changes revealed by its spy shot, IAB's rendering specialist Shoeb Kalania has produced an image which gives us a glimpse of what the facelifted Tata Nexon might have in stores for us.
As seen in the rendered image above, the 2020 Tata Nexon will sport a remastered front-end which will look more imposing and attractive than before. The most noticeable change will be the sleeker headlamps in a rectangular shape. The upper grille and lower grille, as well as the bumper and the fog lamps, will go through design changes to contribute to the edgier look.
The rendered new Tata Nexon features bi-beam automatic headlamps which are angular with LED DRLs, a handle-bar shaped chrome strip which sits below the new sharper radiator grille and squarish fog lamps set in a rugged looking chunkier blacked-out housing. Also new is the redesigned front bumper which comes with black-cladding on the lower profile, giving it a brawnier appeal. There will also be colour options available for the new radiator grille and 'white' will be one of them.
On the inside, the 2020 Nexon is expected to feature a new steering wheel and a bigger touchscreen infotainment system. The new features will reportedly include rain-sensing wipers and a factory-fitted sunroof as well.
Along with the mid-cycle refresh, the Tata Nexon's 1.2L Revotron petrol and 1.5L Revotorq diesel engines will be upgraded to conform to the stricter, BS-VI emission norms. A few months after the launch of the ICE-powered variant, a pure electric variant will follow.
