A report from last week claimed that the Revolt RV 400 will be launched on 22 July. The deliveries will start soon after the launch. The electric motorcycle will arrive close to INR 1 lakh (on-road, Delhi) price tag. As reported earlier, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has proposed to exempt electric vehicles from the registration fee. Thus, we could see an even more competitive price tag for the RV 400 at the launch event.

The company announced various features about the upcoming motorcycle at the unveiling event earlier this month. The RV 400 will come equipped with full LED lighting, digital instrument console, and Bluetooth connectivity to control various functions via a smartphone app. The app can be used to monitor the battery levels, order new battery online, find battery swapping station, set geofencing, track trip details and select the desired exhaust note.

The motorcycle is designed to compete in the naked roadster category and draws styling cues from Chinese electric two-wheeler Super Soco TS. Revolt Motors has confirmed that Super Soco is one of the vendors for the brand. The RV 400 has a top speed of 85 km/h and an ARAI-certified range of 156 km. The motorcycle uses disc brake on both wheels, but isn't equipped with ABS or CBS. Shock absorption tasks are performed by a monoshock at the rear and upside-down forks at the front.

Meanwhile, spy photographers have brought the images of the Super Soco TC from Noida where the retro-styled motorcycle was seen in private parking. As mentioned above, Revolt Motors has confirmed Super Soco as one of its vendors, and thus we believe that the TC can transform into the second product from the Rahul Sharma-founded Indian electric two-wheeler brand. Do note that a report from April this year claimed that Revolt Motors has three vehicles in the pipeline.
