Aprilia dealers have started putting the Storm 125 on display before the official launch announcement this month. Buyers can pre-book the upcoming model unofficially for a token amount ranging from INR 1000 to INR 5,000.NR 5,000.

Unlike the Aprilia Storm 125 from Auto Expo 2018, the unit seen here doesn't have a disc brake at the front and a long windscreen.

The Aprilia Storm 125 that has reached showrooms for sale is slightly different than the one that was showcased at Auto Expo 2018. It doesn't get a disc brake at the front, which might be a let-down for some. An optional disc brake variant could follow later, though. What's also missing is the large windscreen, but chances are that it's a part of optional accessories. However, it has the same 12-inch rims wrapped in Vee Rubber tyres with a chunky tread pattern measuring 120/80-section (front)/130/80-section (rear) as the model displayed at the biennial motorshow.

The Aprilia Storm 125 shares some major similarities with the Aprilia SR 125, but there are some differences to point out too. The former has been seen in matte yellow and matte red colours, while the latter comes in grey, blue and yellow colours. Also, the Storm 125 gets more rugged graphics and a single-piece grab rail at the rear which sits taller than that of the Aprilia SR 125.

The Aprilia Storm 125 shares the 124.49 cc single-cylinder engine that delivers 9.6 PS of maximum power at 7,250 rpm and a peak torque of 9.9 Nm of peak torque at 6,250 rpm from the Aprilia SR 125. Its suspension duties are handled by telescopic front fork and a monoshock at the rear, just like its mechanical twin. CBS (combi-braking system) is standard.
