With the addition of CBS, the Suzuki Access 125 drum variant would operate both brakes only by pressing left brake lever. The CBS tech is aimed to reduce the brake distance and keep a balance between front and rear stopping forces for enhanced safety. The Suzuki Access 125 drum brake CBS variant has been priced at INR 56,667 (ex-showroom Delhi), and it is available across Suzuki dealerships in the country.

Speaking about the launch of the Access 125 drum brake CBS variant Devashish Handa, Vice President, Sales, Marketing & After-Sales, SMIPL said:

Suzuki Motorcycle is committed to improving and innovating its products for better riding experience and introduction of CBS to Access125 drum variant is a step further to fulfilling this promise. Suzuki now has standardized its complete range of scooters with this safety feature. We are confident that with the new enhancements, we will be able further add to the riding experience provided by our products.

Apart from the addition of CBS, everything remains identical to the non-CBS model. Engine specifications include a 125cc single cylinder, air-cooled engine that puts out 8.7 PS of power at 7,000 rpm and 10.2 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm.
