Following the 2019 WagonR tomorrow, Maruti Suzuki will launch the 2019 Baleno (facelift) on the 27th of this month. Here are the grade-wise new features of the latter.
Maruti Suzuki hasn’t changed the equipment lines of the Baleno with the facelift. The range comprises Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha grades. The Sigma grade has gained reverse parking sensors from the existing features. From the new features the company has introduced with the facelift, the Sigma grade includes front passenger SBR, black and blue interior and speed alert system.
The Delta grade has seen the addition of a LED projector headlamps and features a new 2-DIN audio system with touch control buttons. The Zeta and Alpha grades flaunt new precision cut alloy wheels in black and silver finish. The latter has likely gained all-LED tail lamps as well.
The new Maruti Baleno features a new front-end with subtle design tweaks. It has a new upper grille accent, sportier bumper, new lower grille and repositioned fog lamps. The interior design is likely to have remained unchanged.
The K12M 1.2-litre VVT naturally aspirated petrol (84.30 PS/115 Nm) and the 1.3-litre DDiS 190 turbocharged diesel (75.05 PS/190 Nm) engines are continuing in the same specifications. As before, the petrol engine is linked to a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT, while the diesel engine transmits power to the wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission.
