The 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios’ specs have leaked online. Its launch is scheduled to take place on the 20th of this month.
The 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios measures 3,805 mm in length, 1,680 mm in width and 1,520 mm in height. Compared to the outgoing model, it is 40 mm longer and 20 mm wider. The height, on the other hand, is the same. The wheelbase of the all-new model is 2,450 mm, and that translates to an improvement of 25 mm.
The third-gen model of the Hyundai i10 series will be launched with two BS-VI engines. One will be a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol unit producing 81 BHP and 114 Nm of torque. The other will be a 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder diesel unit that develops 74 BHP and 190 Nm of torque. Both engines will be available with a standard 5-speed manual transmission or an optional 5-speed automated manual transmission.

The 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is equipped with features like projector headlamps, boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, shark-fin antenna, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control system, rear AC vents and rear parking camera. Fiery Red, Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Aqua Teal and Alpha Blue are the exterior colour choices.

The 2019 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will compete with the Ford Figo, which is priced from INR 5.23 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Expect it to be priced from under INR 5.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The competition will include even the Maruti Swift sub-compact hatchback, which is priced from INR 4.11 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
