The new Elantra (facelift) will be made available in three variants, namely S, SX and SX(O).

The new Elantra (facelift) will be made available in three variants, namely S, SX and SX(O). 'S', the entry-level variant, will be kitted with features like keyless entry with keyless start, height-adjustable seat belts, front centre console armrest, electrically adjustable ORVMs with turn indicators, steering mounted audio controls, 7-inch (17.77 cm) infotainment system touch screen display with smartphone connectivity and much more. Being the entry-level variant, it will be devoid of the LED headlamps or LED DRLs, and both will only be halogen units. In terms of safety, it will offer ABS with EBD, front dual airbags, ISOFIX, emergency stop signal, among the other safety feature.

The next in the line-up will be the 'SX' variant which will additionally get Hyundai Bluelink connectivity feature, electrically folding ORVMs, dual-zone temperature control, cooled glove box, drive select (AT only), Infinity premium sound and speaker system, a bigger, 8-inch (20.32 cm) central display, electric sunroof, LED rear combination lamps, rear camera, hill start assist, vehicle stability management and more. In addition to the SX variant, the top-of-the-line SX(O) variant will feature wireless charging, front-seat ventilation, 10-way power-adjustable driver seat, leather upholstery, LED DRLs, LED Quad projector headlamps, front parking sensors, TPMS with display on MID, 4.2-inch instrument cluster with colour display and more.

The facelifted Hyundai Elantra will be introduced as a petrol-only model in India. A diesel engine option won't be a part of the package and that's mainly because of the low demand. So, the 2.0L petrol engine delivering 152 PS of maximum power at 6,200 rpm and 19.6 kg.m (192.21 Nm) of peak torque at 4,000 rpm in the old model will be standard. 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic should be the transmission choices.
