The 2019 Honda Accord has been put on display at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2019. The latest-gen Accord is on sale in Thailand at a starting price of 1.5 million baht (INR 3268294).
The latest generation Honda Accord follows the company's latest design direction. The highlights of its aesthetic package include a set of full-LED headlights, LED fog lights, 19-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, and LED tail lamps. One of the two show cars has been fitted with a Modulo kit, which brings in a slightly sportier bumper, bold side skirts, a trunk-lid spoiler, and chrome garnish on the rear bumper. The new-gen Accord is 4879.34 mm long, 1859.28 mm wide, and 1450.34 mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 2829.56 mm.
The Thai-spec 2019 Honda Accord is kitted out with a suite of Honda Sensing technologies, which comprise Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) with Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM) with Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow and new Traffic Sign Recognition.
The 2019 Honda Accord is available with two engine options - 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 2.0-litre hybrid. The former replaces the 2.4 naturally aspirated petrol option of the earlier version and outputs a maximum power of 190 hp, which is a gain of 17 hp over the outgoing engine. The motor comes mated to a CVT. The 2.0-litre petrol-electric hybrid powerplant produces a maximum power of 215 hp.
