Bajaj Auto has extended its Pulsar range of products with the launch of the Neon collection based on the entry-level Bajaj Pulsar 150 Classic to appeal to customers who are looking at a bike with size and performance above the 100/110 cc offerings. The motorcycle range has been launched in India at an introductory price of INR 64,998 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Pulsar 150 Neon range will be sold in the new graphics scheme with Neon Red, Neon Yellow (with Matt Black Paint) and Neon Silver colour accents. The Pulsar 150 Neon features colour coordinated headlamp eyebrows, Pulsar logo, side-panel mesh and alloy grab rail. A 3D logo on the rear cowl and the coloured alloy wheel decal are also part of the package.
Mechanical specifications are identical to the standard Pulsar 150 Classic, and the motorcycle draws 14 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 13.4 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm from the 149cc, 4 Stroke, 2-valve, twin spark, air-cooled, DTS-i engine. Stopping power comes from a 240 mm disc brake at the front and a 130 mm drum unit at the rear.

Following the Pulsar 150 Neon, Bajaj will announce the prices of the 2019 Pulsar 150 Twin Disc which has reached the dealerships. Bajaj Auto aims to boost the sales of the Pulsar brand to 90,000 units per month and the company successfully met the target for the first time last month.
