TVS Motor Company has expanded its reach in Mexico by announcing its association with a leading distributor in the region, Torino Motors, a subsidiary of Groupo Autofin. Torino Motors has over 40 years of experience in the region and it specialises in automobile and retail finance.

As a part of this association, Torino Motors will distribute the following TVS Motor Company two-wheeler products in the Mexican market:
- TVS XL100 HD
- TVS HLX 150
- TVS Stryker
- TVS Apache RTR 160, 180 and 200
- TVS Apache RR 310
- TVS Wego
- TVS Ntorq 125
- TVS Rockz
- TVS Neo
In the first year of the association, Torino Motors will work with TVS Motor Company to open 40 exclusive stores in the country for the distribution of two-wheelers. Through this partnership, TVS Motor Company aims to personalise its offering in the region through the expertise of Torino Motors.
Commenting on this association, R Dilip, Senior Vice President – International Business, TVS Motor Company, said that Torino Motors' market knowledge will allow the Indian brand to personalise its offerings to suit the customers of Mexico. Meanwhile, Torino Motors' vast network of distribution is aimed to provide maximum reach in the country.
Jorge Garcia, Chief Executive Officer, Torino Motors, added that the Mexican brand is delighted to be the bridge between TVS Motor Company's superior offerings and the customers in the country. Garcia also said that the range of offerings provided by the Company are very well-suited for the local Mexican commuter and terrain.

Last month, TVS Motor Company reported year-on-year sales growth of 8%, increasing from 317,563 units in August 2017 to 343,217 units in the month of August 2018. The company's total exports grew by 45% from 45,604 units registered in the month of August 2017 to 66,028 units in August 2018. During the same period, two-wheeler exports registered a growth of 41%, increasing from 38,602 units in August 2017 to 54,388 units in August 2018.
In the domestic market, the company is introducing the TVS Radeon 110 cc motorcycle, starting with North India.
