Ahead of its launch tomorrow, an IAB viewer has shared a set of images showing the Tata Tiago NRG (Energy) in full glory.
The NRG is essentially a crossover-styled variant of Tata's best selling car which has averaged a monthly sale of 7,974 units (March 2018 to August 2018) putting it on the top 10 best sellers in India consistently. The top-end variant should help the manufacturer boost sales and margins of its most popular vehicle.
Akin to every other hatchback-based crossover on sale in the country, the Tata Tiago NRG sports a black plastic cladding in lower section of its exterior. The bumpers get a faux skid plate and have a dual-tone look owing to the black trim. The chrome applique accompanying the grille has been replaced with a black highlight.
The B- and the C-pillar get black plastic cladding. There's some plastic enrichment to the tailgate, too. The roof and the ORVMs have been painted black to complement the dual-tone look.
Black roof rails and a roof-mounted spoiler round off the exterior updates. The Tata Tiago NRG has a ground clearance of 180 mm, which is 10 mm more than that of standard variants.
A grey coloured upholstery will characterise the interior of the new model with contrast orange stitching. The dashboard features silver and orange trim. Feature highlights include a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with 3D navigation, 8-speaker Harman audio system, 6-way adjustable driver's seat, and a cooled glovebox.

Powering the petrol variants will be a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine that outputs a maximum power of 84 bhp and 115 Nm. The Revotorq diesel engine variant offers 69 bhp and 140 Nm. Both the motors use the services of a 5-speed manual transmission.
