The production version of the Haojue HJ300 (Suzuki GSX-S300), is identical in design to the patent images.

Interestingly though, the motorcycle features a “DR300” decal on the extended tank shrouds. This gives rise to the question of whether the bike will be named Haojue HJ300 or Haojue DR300 in China. In any case, the motorcycle could be launched as the Suzuki GSX-S300 and the GSX-S250 in the company’s various global markets.

The spy media reveals the headlight with LED DRLs to be similar to the HJ300 patent images. The design of the alloy wheels, USD front forks, thank shrouds, engine belly pan, swing-arm and seats are precisely identical to the patent images.

The motorcycle comes shod with mono-shock at the rear and Pirelli tubeless tyres at both the ends.
Haojue Motorcycles is Suzuki’s partner in China and manufactures its range of small-displacement motorcycles for the Chinese market. In the Indian context, Suzuki Motorcycles India could launch the Suzuki GSX-S300 in the country to compete with the likes of KTM 390 Duke, BMW G 310 R, Benelli TNT 300 and the Bajaj Dominar 400 among others. That said, the company is reportedly developing an India-spec Suzuki Gixxer 250 for the domestic market.

That said, the Haojue HJ300 reportedly sources power from a 299 cc, parallel-twin engine, four-valve engine. Power figures and technical specifications aren’t revealed yet. That said, the motor is expected to work with a 6-speed gearbox. Previous media reports suggested the engine to be based on the Suzuki GSX-250R. However, according to the patent images, the engine on the HJ300 receives a different crankcase and may feature an overhauled balancer shaft.
