More images of the 2019 Audi Q3 in China have surfaced online, courtesy autohome.com.cn. The all-new Audi Q3 should have its public debut at the 2018 Paris Motor Show in October.
The Audi Q3 follows the usual full model change norm at Audi of having a longer, wider and lower body and an evolutionary design. The second generation model is bigger and more spacious yet bolder and more aggressive in looks.
Making more room for the Audi Q2 to safely operate in, the Audi Q3 has grown by 97 mm in length and 18 mm in width to 4,485 mm and 1,849 mm respectively. 77 mm of the increased length is accounted for by the stretched wheelbase (2,680 mm). With a height of 1,585 mm, the SUV sits 5 mm lower than its predecessor. The second-gen model offers more knee room, headroom and elbow room.
Like any other Audi, the Q3 tries to be more sophisticated. There’s a long list of new technologies, including as Matrix LED headlights, (10.25-inch or 12.3-inch) Audi virtual cockpit, 10.1-inch touchscreen for the MMI navigation plus infotainment system, Audi phone box (for enhanced cellular reception and Qi wireless charging), type-C USB port and more.

Audi will release the new generation Q3 in Europe with four engine options - three petrol and one diesel. The outputs of these DITC engines range from 110 kW (150 PS) to 169 kW (230 PS). 6-speed manual transmission or the 7-speed S tronic automatic transmission is used to transmit the power. Select configurations will include the quattro permanent AWD option.
The new Audi Q3 should go on sale in China in 2019. Its Indian launch will also take place next year only.
