A year after the first markets, India is about to get the facelifted Honda Jazz. Citing dealer sources, a report from Autocar India says that the 2018 Honda Jazz’s launch will likely take place on 19 July.
The third generation Honda Jazz will gain minor cosmetic changes with the facelift. Specific details aren’t available, but most changes should mirror those in the international markets. Like the Honda City, the premium hatchback may gain LED headlamps with the facelift. In addition to tweaked headlamps, revisions would include a more upright upper grille and a more prominent ‘H’ logo right in its centre, new alloy wheels, reconfigured front bumper and tweaked tail lamps.
Inside, the overall design and the all-black theme should remain unchanged. Honda may introduce new upholstery and trim as well as the 7-inch Digipad 2.0 touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. The engine and transmission choices should remain unchanged. The current Honda Jazz is available with the 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine (90 PS/110 Nm) coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT and the 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine (100 PS/200 Nm) paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
