Performance exhaust manufacturer Termignoni has announced a new racing silencer for the 2018 Royal Enfield Himalayan. The Himalayan is the only Royal Enfield motorcycle to get a dedicated Termignoni exhaust system.
The new Termignoni exhaust is built out of stainless steel and features a black rear cap. The lightweight construction of the exhaust has helped in shedding an overall weight of 2 kg. Moreover, the exhaust also helps in increasing the performance of the bike. The engine develops an additional power of 0.8 hp at 3500 rpm and peak torque of 1.65 Nm at 3500 rpm.
The historical metallic logo adorns the conical sleeve of the exhaust muffler. According to the performance chart released by Termignoni, the Royal Enfield Himalayan develops 24.1 hp of maximum power at 6,200 rpm and 31.8 Nm of torque at 4,200 rpm, as compared to 23.5 hp and 30.8 Nm respectively of the stock bike. These power figures are developed at the wheel. The full exhaust kit comprises of a silencer, aluminium spacer, washer silent block, spacer silent block, washer 8×24, self-locking nut M8, screw M8x30 and metal clamp.
