Earlier this week, the Mahindra TUV300 Plus was launched in India. YouTube user Tanmay Gupta has created a walkaround video and sent us images of new SUV’s range-topping P8 grade, which is priced at INR 10,98,600 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Mahindra TUV300 Plus has been on sale for select customers since December 2017. However, it was initially available in only a basic ‘P4’ grade. It has been officially launched nationwide and is available in a mid-range ‘P6’ grade and a top-of-the-line ‘P8’ grade.
The Mahindra TUV300 Plus P8 is distinguished by styling features like body-coloured front grille with chrome inserts, front fog lamps with chrome accents, 16-inch alloy wheels, piano black centre fascia, twin-pod instrument cluster with chrome rings, silver accents on the AC vents, steering wheel garnish and silver-finish grab handles. It features side footsteps, rear footstep and faux leather upholstery as well.
Many comfort and convenience features are exclusive to the Mahindra TUV300 Plus’ P8 grade. These include keyless entry, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation and 4 speakers + 2 tweeters, rear parking sensors, rear-view camera, electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, steering mounted audio and phone controls, height adjustable driver’s seat, lumbar support for front seats, flat-folding second-row seats and more.

The Mahindra TUV300 Plus P8 is powered by the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that produces 120 bhp at 4,000 rpm and 280 Nm of torque at 1,800-2,800 rpm. This engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard. Unlike in the Mahindra TUV300 Plus P4 and the Mahindra TUV300 Plus P6, the 696-litre boot space in the Mahindra TUV300 Plus P8 is expandable to 888 litres.
