The Datsun GO and Datsun GO+ have received a facelift for the MY2018 featuring design, equipment and powertrain updates.
The 2018 Datsun GO and 2018 Datsun GO+ have a more stylish exterior with a wider and more upright hexagonal grille, tweaked headlamps, sportier and more detailed front bumper with vertical LED DRLs, ORVMs with new integrated turn indicators, new, 14-inch double-spoke alloy wheels and new rear bumper with faux side air vents. The hatchback and the MPV gain the rear washer and wiper as well.
Inside, Datsun has redesigned the entire dashboard and instrument panel, with revised centre console, rectangular central air vents and a 6.75-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Optimised backrest shape has improved seating comfort, it is claimed. The company has made changes to the chassis and provided more insulation to improve comfort further.
The Datsun GO has gained a CVT option in the mid-cycle refresh, but not the Datsun GO+. The 2018 Datsun GO MT and 2018 Datsun GO+ (MT) use the current 1.2L three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 68 PS and 104 Nm of torque. The 2018 Datsun GO CVT employs the 1.2L three-cylinder petrol engine that develops 78 PS and 104 Nm of torque.
