Maruti Suzuki will soon offer the Maruti Ignis, one of its most customisable cars, in the new Nexa Blue colour. CarDekho has published an image of a Maruti Ignis painted in this new shade of blue.
The Maruti Ignis is available in two shades of blue currently: Tinsel Blue and Urban Blue. According to CarDekho’s report, Maruti Suzuki will replace the Urban Blue colour with the Nexa Blue. It has already stopped production of the car in the Urban Blue colour, but dealerships still may have stock left. The new colour looks darker making the car look sportier, especially with the 15-inch trapezoidal black-painted alloy wheels available in the Zeta and Alpha grades.
Launched in January last year, the Maruti Ignis is Maruti Suzuki’s entry-level offering at its premium Nexa dealerships. It is available with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 61 kW (82.94 PS) and 113 Nm of torque and a 1.3-litre diesel engine that develops 55.2 kW (75.05 PS) and 190 Nm of torque. 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual are the transmission choices.
