As per a Team-BHP report, the launch of the 2018 Hyundai Creta (facelift) will take place in the last week of May. The report adds that the production of the updated model will commence at HMIL's Chennai plant in the third week of next month.
As revealed by a recent spy shot, the mid-life refresh will bring with it updates to the exterior in the form of an updated grille that runs deeper into the front bumper, resculpted fog lamp enclosure, and pronounced silver applique on the front bumper. At the back, the tail lamps will get a new structure and changes will be made to the bumper as well. The Hyundai Creta facelift will sport new two-tone 17-inch alloy wheels and will gain a sunroof as well.
The current engine and transmission options, which include a 1.4 L diesel, a 1.6 L diesel and a 1.6 L petrol, are likely to be carried over unchanged. The 1.6 L diesel and petrol are offered with a 6-speed automatic transmission as well, apart from a 6-speed manual standard across the range.

Currently, the base Creta is priced at INR 9.29 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). We're not expecting any changes in the pricing of the entry and mid-level trims. However, the top-end trims, which gain features like a sunroof, are expected to cost more.
