Hyundai unveiled 2017 Hyundai ix25 (2018 Hyundai Creta) at the 2017 Chengdu Motor Show last week. Here are the facelifted ix25's images from the show, courtesy bitauto.
The larger, redesigned radiator grille connects to the tweaked headlamps, the redone midsection of the bumper adds more muscle, the fog lamps are rotated for a horizontal orientation, and the restyled lower bumper houses LED DRLs on the sides. At the rear, the compact SUV features three-element LED tail lights. The restyled rear bumper houses twin exhaust pipes for a sporty look.
On the inside, the 2017 Hyundai ix25 features a dual-tone interior with body-coloured highlights/stitching on components like the air vents, steering wheel, seats, gearshift lever and armrest. The hazard warning switch is now above the infotainment system in place of the digital clock.
The 2017 Hyundai ix25 is 4,290 mm long, 1,780 mm wide and 1,622 mm/1,627 mm/1,646 mm tall. It is available with 1.6-litre Gamma and 1.4-litre T-GDi Kappa petrol engines. The 1.6-litre engine produces 91.6 kW (122.79 hp) and 150.7 Nm of torque. The 1.4-litre engine develops 103 kW (138.07 hp) and 242 Nm of torque. The 1.6-litre engine is available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmissions, while the 1.4-litre engine is paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The driver can choose from three modes: Comfort, Eco and Sport.
