Just last week, IAB revealed that Maruti Suzuki will soon launch the Maruti Dzire Tour S CNG. According to an image of an internal document published by Team-BHP, the company will price the CNG model at INR 5.97 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Maruti Dzire Tour S CNG is 3,995 mm long, 1,795 mm wide and 1,555 mm high. Its wheelbase spans a length of 2,430 mm. The small sedan employs a 1.2-litre bi-fuel engine that can run on petrol and CNG. In petrol mode, this engine produces a maximum power of 62 kW (84 PS) at 6,000 rpm. This figure reduces to 52.5 kW (75 PS) when the engine is running on CNG. A 5-speed manual transmission is expected as standard.
The Maruti Dzire Tour S CNG is based on the second-gen Maruti Dzire. It’s basically a flex-fuel derivative of the Maruti Dzire Tour S, which was launched in April last year as the successor to the Maruti Dzire Tour. Currently, the Tour S is available with a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.3-litre diesel engine, has a speed governor that limits the top speed to 80 km/h. The Maruti Dzire Tour S CNG should also have this feature.

Maruti Suzuki will offer the Tour S CNG in three metallic colours: Pearl Metallic Arctic White, Metallic Silky Silver and Midnight Black. The company will start dispatching the new model in the second half of next month.
