Bajaj Auto has hiked prices of the 2018 Bajaj Dominar 400 this month by around INR 2,000 for both the variants.
The non-ABS version now costs INR 1,44,113, as opposed to the launch price of INR 1,42,109. This translates to an increase of INR 2,004. The dual-channel ABS variant will now set you back by INR 1,58,275, in increase of INR 2,005 over its launch price (INR 1,56,270). All prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi. It has been two months since Bajaj launched the 2018 iteration officially. However, the company has mentioned in its official website that all prices are subject to change; and Bajaj Auto Ltd. reserves the right to modify the prices. At launch, the Pune-based brand offered the Dominar without any changes in pricing over the previous model year.

The 2018 version continues with the same mechanicals as the previous generation bike. Apart from improved refinement, the bike comes in new colours and gold-finished wheels. The 373.3 cc single cylinder mill with liquid cooling and fuel injection is good for 35 PS at 8,000 rpm; and 35 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The powerplant works in tandem with a 6-speed transmission with slipper clutch.
The Dominar is the only affordable power cruiser in India. Its closest rivals would be the UM Renegade range, Royal Enfield Thunderbird and Classic range.
