Bajaj Auto has launched the ‘Racing Red’ colour variant of the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 in the country. This adds to the already existing ‘Racing Blue’ and ‘Graphite Black’ colours which the brand launched last year.
The bike costs INR 123,891 for the non-ABS version and INR 135,795 for the ABS variant. Both prices are ex showroom Delhi, and all the colour options will be available at the same price. The new bike also comes with a red colour front and a black rear alloy wheel. Apart from the colours, the mechanicals are the same as the existing bike. Commenting on the launch of the new colour, Mr. Sumeet Narang, Vice President, Marketing, Motorcycle Business, Bajaj Auto said:
The Pulsar RS200 offers unparalleled design, fit and finish of the dream super sports bike and is a best seller among Indian youth. The ever growing 4500+ strong Pulsar Maniacs community and India’s biggest biking festival – The Pulsar Festival of Speed both of which are centered on Pulsar RS200 are a testament to its popularity and success.
The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 employs a 199.5 cc single cylinder mill with liquid cooling and fuel injection. The powerplant punches out 24.5 PS at 9,750 rpm, and 18.6 Nm at 8,000 rpm. A 6-speed transmission does duty on the bike, and helps it reach a claimed top speed of 141 kmph.
Cycle parts include telescopic front fork, and a rear Nitrox monoshock. A 300 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc handle the braking responsibility. A single channel ABS is optional. The motorcycle’s chief rival is the KTM RC 200.
