Yamaha Motor Indonesia has updated the Yamaha Aerox 155 R-Version with two new colours- Matte Silver and Racing Yellow. Yamaha believes the new colour options will help attract more customers. The two colour variants come with a price tag of IDR 24,550,000, on the road Jakarta.
Notable features of the Yamaha Aerox 155 R-Version include sporty seats with premium stitching, 25 litre under seat storage, LED headlight and tail lamp, and a 5.8 inch LCD instrument cluster. The R-Version comes with 230 mm petal disc with ABS at the front, and twin rear gas-charged shock absorbers. The front uses telescopic fork, and the rear wheel gets a drum brake.

Powering the scooter is a 155.1 cc SOHC single cylinder engine with liquid cooling and VVA technology. The powerplant puts out 14.95 PS of power at 8,000 rpm, and 13.8 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. The mill mates with an automatic transmission.
The Matte Silver colour draws inspiration from the Yamaha YZF-R1M and the Racing Yellow colour takes cues from Yamaha's legendary livery in MotoGP. Interestingly, in the Indian market, the S-Version was spotted at a dealership, hinting at its launch in the country. The S-Version comes with standard disc at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear.
