The 2018 Suzuki Swift will hit the Thai market next month. The company has commenced promotional activities and has released a teaser video in the build-up to the launch of the all-new Swift in Thailand.
Shorter, wider and lower than its predecessor, the all-new Thai-spec Suzuki Swift should measure around 3,840 mm in length, 1,695 mm in width and 1,500 mm in height. It will have a 2,450 mm wheelbase. Local media reports say that Suzuki will offer it with the K12C 1.2-litre Dualjet engine. This naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol mill produces 91 PS and 118 Nm of torque in the JDM-spec version, but in the Euro-spec version, it is tuned to deliver 90 PS and 120 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission will send power to the wheels.
On the outside, the 2018 Suzuki Swift will feature LED projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, honeycomb mesh grille, 16-inch alloy wheels, pillar-mounted (rear) door handles and LED rear combination lamps. Touchscreen infotainment system, instrument cluster with red highlights, automatic climate control, flat-bottom steering wheel and keyless engine start button are some of the main expected features.
