The first official video of the 2018 Suzuki Ertiga (2018 Maruti Ertiga) is out now. It covers the all-new MPV’s design, key features and main specifications.
The second-gen Suzuki Ertiga’s Suzuki’s latest model underpinned by the Heartect platform. Compared to its predecessor, it is 130 mm longer, 40 mm wider and 5 mm taller. The wheelbase has remained the same (2,740 mm), while the ground clearance is down by 5 mm to 180 mm. With all the seatbacks raised up, 153 litres of luggage space is available. Folding the third-row seatbacks increases the capacity to 550 litres. Folding the second-row seatbacks leads to a maximum volume of 803 litres.
The 2018 Suzuki Ertiga may not look as stylish as the Mitsubishi Xpander, but its design is more contemporary and upmarket compared to its predecessor. Projector headlamps, chrome-studded upper grille mesh, 15-inch alloy wheels and LED rear combination lamps among the main exterior features.
The interior of the all-new Suzuki Ertiga is influenced by that of the latest Swift/Dzire. The beige upholstery is complemented with woody inserts for a luxurious look. Engine start/stop button, 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual power outlets, ventilated cupholders, 60:40 split folding and sliding second-row seats and 50:50 split tilt down folding third-row seats are the interior highlights.
The 2018 Suzuki Ertiga’s safety suite includes ABS with EBD, dual airbags, rear parking sensors, rear parking camera, Hill-Hold Control and ESP. Suzuki offers its latest MPV with the K15B 1.5-litre VVT four-cylinder petrol engine that develops 104.7 PS at 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic are the transmission choices. The fuel economy is rated at 18.06 km/l (MT)/16.73 km/l (AT).

The all-new Suzuki Ertiga is built at the Cikarang Plant in Indonesia. Pre-orders for Indonesia are open now, and sales will commence on the 12th of May.
