Mahindra Scorpio Pik-Up gets its long-overdue facelift.
Mahindra has unveiled the 2018 Mahindra Scorpio Pik-Up (2018 Mahindra Goa Pik-Up/2018 Mahindra Scorpio Getaway) at Automobile Barcelona auto show that opened on 11 May 2017. A video published on YouTube by Automobile Classics channel gives a close look at the renewed Mahindra Scorpio Pik-Up's exterior and interior.
The new Mahindra Scorpio Pik-Up borrows the facelifted Mahindra Scorpio's fascia for the mid-cycle refresh. Redesigned, dual projector headlamps with LED eyebrows, new imposing radiator grille with vertical slats, modified bumpers, reshaped turn indicators, faux (side) air vents and resculpted hood round up the pick-up's key exterior changes.
On the inside, the 2018 Mahindra Scorpio Pik-Up gets changes that make it almost entirely new. The new instrument panel, HVAC vents and controls, centre console, four-spoke steering wheel and gearshift lever make the interior look notably more upmarket. Mahindra has also installed a new 6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and an automatic climate control system with the facelift.

The engine specifications and the platform details of the 2018 Mahindra Scorpio Pik-Up have not been released by the company. The current-gen model sold in Spain is powered by the 2.2-liter mHawk turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 88 kW (120 CV/120 hp) at 4,000 rpm and 290 Nm of torque between 1,600 rpm and 2,800 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. A four-wheel drive system is available.
European reports say that the pickup will be ready for sale in early 2018.
